Mahindra Launches New Variants For Its XUV300

- Both petrol and diesel variants of the W4 now get a sunroof
- The 1.2-litre mStallion TGDi goes from 0 to 60 kmph in 6 seconds (claimed)
- This new base spec W2 variant is priced at Rs 7.99 lakh, and a mid-spec W4 TurboSport variant is priced at Rs 9.29 lakh
Mahindra has launched two new variants of the XUV300. This new base spec W2 variant is priced at Rs 7.99 lakh, and a mid-spec W4 TurboSport variant is priced at Rs 9.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Moreover, the Indian automaker has equipped all W4 variants with a sunroof which was only available in the top-spec SUV.
Previously the turbo-petrol motor was only available in the W6 onwards. Still, the brand has now introduced this motor in the W4. The 1.2-litre mStallion TGDi petrol motor produces 96kW and 250Nm and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Furthermore, the powertrain offers a 0 to 60 kmph time of just 6 seconds. The W2 variant will be powered by the 1.2-litre motor already on sale.

In terms of features, the XUV300 comes with a whole list of comfort and safety features. These include an electric sunroof, dual-zone temperature control, connected car tech, smartwatch connectivity, a sizable touchscreen unit, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and cruise control. Moreover, it comes with six airbags, four-disc brakes, ESP, hill hold assist and front and rear parking sensors.
