MV Agusta Brutale 1090 Goes for Sale at Rs. 19.3 Lakh

A part of the Kinetic Group of companies - MV Agusta India - has started accepting the orders of the Brutale 1090 in the Indian market. The introductory price of the bike has been kept at Rs. 19.3 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune), and the bike, for now, can be ordered only through the recently-launched website - www.motoroyale.in. Kinetic Motoroyale, the initiative through which MV Agusta will sell and service its bikes in India, will be opening dealerships across several cities soon.
MV Agusta India has also said that the first 10 customers to book the Brutale 1090 will get their motorcycles in 20 days. The Brutale 1090 will arrive in India as a CBU unit, which justifies the steep price tag. The bike has a 1,078cc, four-cylinder engine which delivers 144bhp of maximum power at 10,300rpm and 112Nm of torque at 8,100rpm.
The Brutale 1090 will have a dry weight of 183kg, and will have a top speed of 265km/h. The Brutale 1090 also has a fuel tank capacity of 23 litres which will make long distance riding easy and effortless. Another good-looking feature is the single-sided swingarm which gives a distinct look to the motorcycle. Electronics include things like an 8-level traction control, a 2-step ABS and 4 inbuilt riding maps.

Commenting on this move, Ajinkya Firodia, Managing Director, MV Agusta India, said, "We have been overwhelmed with the response to the MV Agusta product line ever since we made our announcement a couple of months ago. We have about 6 showrooms opening up in major cities in the north, south and west of India. But since we launched our FB page (MV Agusta India) and our website, we have received over 100 enquiries asking for deliveries of the motorcycles. Hence we have already started accepting bookings of these bikes as our network is already on its way. We would like to deliver the motorcycles in a grand manner with our showroom launches."
As of now, MV Agusta is accepting orders of its Brutale 1090 only via WWW, but will soon have dealerships in cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi and Ahmedabad.
We at CarandBike will be doing a detailed review of the Brutale 1090 sometime soon. Stay tuned to CarandBike to stay updated about MV Agusta India.
