Nippon And Blue Bird Automotive Launch New Car Refinish Service In India

- Nippon and Blue Bird have partnered to provide premium car care service.

Japanese auto component manufacturer- Nippon and India based Blue Bird Automotive have partnered to provide a high-quality car paint job service and car care in India. The JV has started its first facility in Gurgaon by the name of 'Nippon Express' and is claiming to repair any dent or scratch on the exterior of a car quicker than any other OEM. The facility is spread across 22,000 sq. ft. which can accommodate up to 15 cars and is equipped with machine colour tools mixing to curate the accurate shade.

Nippon has been operating in India since 2011 and has invested Rs. 1100 crore in its Chennai based manufacturing facility since then. Additionally, Nippon Express is also into providing mechanical repair, Ceramic body coating and routine service for premium cars (D-Segment and above), however, the paint job facility is open to accept all models. Speaking to carandbike, Malhotra also shared that the company is planning to organically expand its operations in other metro and tier two cities and will open five more workshops in India within two years.
