Highlights

Royal Enfield took the wraps off the new Hunter 350 classic a couple of day ago and is all set to launch the new modern classic motorcycle today. The model unveiled was in a dual tone finish similar to the newer models from Royal Enfield, like the Continental GT 650, or the Scram 411. Apart from the dual shade finish on the fuel tank, the rest of the motorcycle is finished in all black, with a striking absence of chrome from the entire body. The Hunter 350 sports an offset circular instrument cluster with a smaller tripper navigation pod on its right, which is likely to remain reserved for the higher variants.

Synonymous to all Royal Enfields, the motorcycle features a circular headlamp, and it also features circular tail lamps and turn indicators. The Hunter 350 has a single piece seat, and it has split rear grab rails, giving it a unique look in the Royal Enfield's line up. The Hunter 350 also sports a teardrop shaped fuel tank with a centre placed fuel filler lid. The fuel tank also has 'Royal' written on one side and 'Enfield' on the other in a big font, making the livery appear youthful. The switchgear seems to have been carried over from the larger Royal Enfields, and so is the case for its 350 cc engine. The variant in the video is the top spec, and also sports blacked out alloy wheels.

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will be launched with the same engine as the other 350 models in RE's line up, the Classic 350 & the Meteor 350. The engine is likely to put out the same 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque as it does in the other models, but will likely feel peppier in this shorter and lighter motorcycle. The engine will be mated to a five-speed gearbox. When launched, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will go up against the likes of the Honda CB 350 RS, Jawa 42 and TVS Ronin. Expect ex-showroom prices to begin around Rs. 1.70 lakh and it is likely to be positioned below the Classic 350 and Meteor 350.
