Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Launched: Price, Specifications & Rivals

A couple of days ahead of its launch and just hours before its official unveil, Royal Enfield's MD Siddhartha Lal unveiled the Hunter 350 via his social media handles. Now, the motorcycle has been officially launched, revealing many more details about it. The Hunter 350 has a very youthful design, and is more compact than its 350 siblings, the Classic and Meteor. The Hunter is also a full 14 kgs lighter than the Classic 350, and will sit right at the bottom of Royal Enfield's offerings in terms of pricing, while retaining the brand's DNA.

The Hunter 350 is 14 kgs lighter than the Classic 350, and has a 20 mm shorter wheelbase.
Specifications
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 carries over the same 349 cc J-series engine which powers the Classic 350 & Meteor 350. The long stroke motor develops 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm torque at 4,000 rpm. Apart from being the lightest Royal Enfield at 181 kg, the Hunter 350 is also smaller in dimensions than its 350 siblings, with wheelbase being 20 mm shorter than the Classic and 30 mm shorter than the Meteor. This should give the Hunter 350 better dynamics, and the lighter kerb weight should also translate to better performance, but we will only know for sure once we ride it.
