What Are The Most Effective Way to Charge A Car Without A Cord?

The battery of a car could be charged in many ways without a cord. If the car is being driven frequently, it would show a warning sign on the dashboard if the battery is low on charge. There are many reasons why the battery has little or no charge.

Effective Ways to Charge A Car Without a Cord:
1. By Using Jump Leads:
If the car battery has no charging left, you need to jump-start it in order to start the engine. After you get your engine started you can take your reach the destination and get your car charged. For jump-starting your car, you require another vehicle to connect the jump leads. The jump leads are helpful in charging the battery enough to start the engine.

2. By Using a Solar Panel and A Charger:
The car could be charged by using solar panels if you have them installed at your place. However, if your battery has no charge left then it would be difficult to get it charged or it may take hours to even get it started. The solar charge controller is used to connect the battery to the solar panel. The purpose of a solar charge controller is to prevent the overcharging of the battery.

3. By using a UPS Inverter:
Every home uses a ups inverter so that they can get a power supply in case of a power cut. Generally, the inverter works by converting the DC current of the battery to the AC current. Usually, a home inverter uses a 12V battery which is similar to a car battery. Therefore, the battery of an inverter could be used to charge the car. However, you must check the manual to know if the battery is suitable to charge the car.
4. By Using A Jump Starter:
Car owners must keep a jump starter with themselves in case, the battery drains down completely. Its purpose is to give the battery enough charge so that the engine could be started. When you get the engine started and running, you may charge the battery by using an alternator. In case, the starter could not jump-start your battery, the reason may be that you have a faulty battery.
5. By Using Another Vehicle to Charge Your Battery:
You can place your battery in another car to charge it. However, you can do this only if the battery of another car is similar to yours and also if you have another car available to you. In case, you are unsure of the similarity between the batteries, it is not advised to connect the batteries. It could damage your battery or the internal parts of another car.
6. By Using a Battery Isolator:
You can use a battery isolator to charge a second battery by giving it a charge from the alternator of the first battery. It could get your job done.
