Pros Cons of Volvo XC90

Pros

  • Sharp Exterior Design
  • Comfortable Cabin
  • Loaded On The Feature Front

Cons

  • Climate Control Option Is Confusing
  • Touchscreen Takes Effort
  • Lacks Outright Performance

Verdict

The Volvo delivers an impressive performance without directly contesting the V6 or V8 SUVs. Its combined output of 400bhp, sourced from the electric motor and the 4-cylinder engine, is commendably robust. The vehicle operates smoothly and, when switched to Pure Mode, can cover slightly over 40 kilometres solely on electric power. Additionally, it offers instant torque, thanks to the electric motor's ability to provide maximum torque from a standstill, ensuring responsive and dynamic acceleration right from the get-go.

Pros Cons of BMW 5 Series

Pros

  • Great Ride And Handling
  • Gets Both Petrol And Diesel Options
  • Premium Interior With Smart Features

Cons

  • Petrol Trim Only Comes In One Variant
  • Second-Row Not Good For 3 Occupants
  • Cabin Design Looks A Bit Dated

Verdict

The 5 series continues to impress with its dynamic capabilities but a more contemporary face and tech laden cabin has made the car even more appealing than before. It starts at ₹ 62.90 lakh for the Petrol version while the 520d is priced at ₹ 63.90 lakh. Top of the line 530d will set you back by ₹ 71.90 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). It is going up against the likes of the recently launched Mercedes E-class, Audi A6 and Jaguar XF.
