Jeep Compass vs Renault Duster Comparison

The Jeep Compass does not try to dominate the segment on paper specifications. It does not have the largest cabin, the most powerful engine or the longest feature list. What it does deliver instead is a cohesive driving experience as well as a solid chassis and brand identity. The latest model has the added benefit of accessibility with the 4x2 diesel automatic and revised prices. That change alone makes the Compass easier to think about than it was.

If your priority is the most space or the most advanced electronic systems, rivals may be appropriate for you. The Renault Duster still has the genes of the original, which it such a success in India. Sure, it does not try to attract buyers with flashy functions or an endless feature list. What it does is focus on delivering a comfortable ride, superb stability, strong turbo-petrol performance and that true SUV driving experience.

If your priority is a well-rounded SUV that can go over poor roads, cruise comfortably on highways, and still offer an enjoyable driving experience, the Duster ranks quite high in its segment. Just be aware that not the automatic gearbox is not an option on all powertrains and variants, unlike some rivals.
