Pros Cons of Maserati Levante

Pros

  • Looks smashing
  • Italian crafsmanship
  • Hybrid powertrain

Cons

  • Small infotainment system
  • Ideal for just 4 passengers
  • Plenty of buttons in cabin

Verdict

There’s no doubt that the Maserati Levante GT Hybrid is a beautiful piece of machinery. It's got brilliant handling and ride quality that counts for more as a daily driver. While it may look like a mild facelift from the outside, underneath the Levante Hybrid GT is anything but one. This car will also pave way for the upcoming cars from the Italian marquee as it prepares to electrify its range by the end of this decade. But all said and done, the Maserati Levante GT Hybrid is a superb-looking SUV regardless of what’s under the bonnet.

Pros Cons of Mercedes-Benz GLC

Pros

  • The highly futuristic portrait touchscreen
  • 620 litres of usable boot space
  • Effortless suspension for broken Indian roads
  • Identical pricing for both petrol and diesel engines
  • The transparent bonnet feature

Cons

  • No physical climate control buttons
  • Body roll during fast cornering
  • More expensive than rivals

Verdict

The Mercedes-Benz GLC does not try to be a sharp sports car. Instead, it focuses entirely on keeping its passengers comfortable and isolated from outside noise. The heavy updates to the cabin technology keep it ahead of older rivals, and the 15-speaker Burmester audio system is a major highlight for daily commuters. While you have to accept the learning curve of a buttonless dashboard, the exceptional ride comfort and refined engine options from this vehicle make it a very practical option in the luxury SUV space.

Jaiveer summarises,

“The GLC is no slouch off the line, though its comfort-oriented nature will make it the vehicle of choice for the chauffeur-driven.”
