Pros Cons of Tata Harrier

Pros

  • The new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine
  • The 14.5-inch touchscreen
  • JBL Dolby Atmos audio system
  • Excellent ride quality on all road surfaces

Cons

  • The touch-sensitive climate control panel
  • No AWD or 4x4 option
  • The massive width hinders city parking

Verdict

With the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor, Tata has fixed its biggest shortcoming and made the Harrier accessible to a much wider audience now. Its suspension feels robust as ever, the massive rear-seat space is segment-leading, and the five-star rating means it can handle most of whatever challenging Indian road conditions throw at it. The distracting HVAC controls and inconsistent service standards at service centers can bother some, but for the most part, the Harrier’s toughness and loaded tech kit will overshadow everything else.

Seshan sums up the car,

“This new petrol engine fits the Harrier well. If you were on the fence purely because it was diesel-only, it now deserves a serious look.”

Pros Cons of Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class

Pros

  • Big on driving dynamics
  • Smooth gearbox
  • Oozes style

Cons

  • Rear seat space is less
  • Ground clearance could have been better

Verdict

It is a beautiful car and it has all those features you expect from a Mercedes. The car is also not very pricy compared to its class and comfort. It looks graceful and feels safe and comfy while driving or just riding.
