Joining the existing (but now repositioned) X440 lineup is the X440T, featuring a new rear subframe, ride-by-wire and switchable ABS.

The X440T gets a revised rear-end, while carrying the same look as the X440 motorcycle.

In a SEBI filing by Hero MotoCorp, the company revealed that its partnership with the American bikemaker would expand to include new variants of the X440 and a second all-new motorcycle.

Deliveries of the Harley-Davidson X440 motorcycles began on October 15, and are currently underway at about 100 dealerships, including Harley-Davidson and select Hero MotoCorp outlets, across India.

Bookings for the made-in-India Harley-Davidson X440, manufactured by Hero MotoCorp, will reopen from October 16, 2023.

Electric two-wheeler start-up Ultraviolette Automotive had applied for the ‘X44’ name trademark two months before Hero MotoCorp applied for a trademark with the ‘X440’ name.

The Harley-Davidson X440 is to get pricier by Rs 10,500, with prices now starting at Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
