10 Global Car Features That We Want in Indian Cars

Advanced tech and innovation have allowed the global automotive industry to introduce intriguing features. However, if we compare Indian cars to global ones, we think Indians miss out on several cool car features!
Tesla's Sentry Mode
Tesla's Sentry mode helps its owners detect any suspicious movement around the car. If someone is leaning on your beloved Tesla or trying to break in, the cameras work in sync to record the action and give a warning.

Clear Sight Rear View
The clear sight rear view mirror is a common feature in luxury cars around the globe. Automakers install cameras on the tailgate and project the video feed on the rear-view mirror. This feature does a great job of reducing blind spots.

Adaptive Cruise Control
The adaptive cruise control feature is a part of the kit in automatic transmission cars. The driver has to set two attributes (speed and distance) to maintain. Once you select the attributes, you can depend on the vehicle to automatically perform the function!
Torque Vectoring
Brake vectoring or torque vectoring is a safety feature that controls the car to prevent mishaps. This feature pushes little brakes on the inner wheel, mimicking a limited-slip deferential.
Blind Spot Detection System
Only high-end cars come with a blind spot detection system. The feature uses an optical sensor to spot vehicles in proximity. Whenever it spots a nearby car, the ORVM light glows to notify the user.

Automatic Emergency Braking
The automatic emergency braking feature is quite the winner when it comes to road safety! This feature can prevent collisions and accidents on the road. It uses an ultrasonic transmitter to detect obstacles and automatically applies brakes if it sees one.
Lane Departure Warning
The lane departure warning feature is a must-have for Indian cars. This feature can make highway driving easier and safer. The lane departure warning makes sure that your vehicle maintains the same lane throughout the journey.

Lane Keep Assist
The lane keep assist feature takes car safety to a much higher level. The feature is similar to lane departure warning. However, unlike LWD, the lane-keep assist will automatically adjust and correct the lane of your car!
Massaging Seats
Don't look beyond the massaging seat feature if you are looking for luxury. You can relax your back, shoulder, and lumbar on long journeys with these plush seats. Only a few high-end luxury cars in India include this elegant feature.
Rear Cross-traffic Assist
Do you struggle to manoeuvre your car in the parking lot? In a jam-packed parking lot, you might find it challenging to take out your vehicle as there's a possibility of another vehicle entering suddenly. The rear cross-traffic assist gives you a warning if it detects any car at the rear.
We hope that Indian auto manufacturers will soon bring these exciting features to their cars!
