The 12th edition of Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey Ride is all set to kick-start on July 10, and will conclude on July 25, 2015. Royal Enfield's flagship motorcycle event will witness 75 RE riders this year who will start their journey with a briefing on 10th July and flag off on July 11. The company says that the riders, this year, will take a completely revamped route to Leh via Sarchu Pass.

In the 17 days of the journey, the riders will cover more than 2,500 kilometres to the Khardung-La Pass - the world's highest motor-able road known for harsh weather conditions. The scenic Himalayan landscape will be a respite for riders as they battle the treacherous terrains in the most majestic locations of Himalayas that include Parwanoo, Narkanda, Kalpa, Kaza, Jispa, Sarchu, Rumtse and Leh.
