2019 Cartier Concours d'Elegance To Be Held In February In Jaipur

The date is February 24, 2019 and the place is Jaipur where you will get to see an array of Classic cars at the 2019 Cartier Concours d'Elegance that will be organized at Rambagh Palace in the pink city. The event will be organized by Manvendra Singh of Barwani district, Madhya Pradesh who is the curator of Cartier Travel and will handpick all the classic cars that will be on display. As last year, even the 2019 edition will showcase classic cars and motorcycles that will be divided in to various classes.
The models that will make it to the 2019 Cartier Concours d'Elegance will be selected by invitation following the set parameters on which these cars are evaluated. As standard, the Cartier has set categories like Pre-War Classics, Roadster, Preservation, Indian Heritage and Post-War Classics which forms the basis of selection. For motorcycles, there are three categories which are Veteran (vintage), Pre-War and Post-War. Moreover, a minimum of five cars are mandatory to form a new category.
There are other barriers too like no repeat entries are accepted at this event i.e. the vehicle that has already been displayed at any of the earlier edition are automatically dropped out. Moreover, there is also an underage restriction. The models that went to production after 1968 are not eligible for this one of its kind event.
The upcoming exhibition will be the sixth edition of Cartier Concours d'Elegance in India and the organizers say that the event has seen immense popularity after the second edition of the 'Travel With Style' event held in New Delhi.
