The first product to come from the BMW Motorrad and TVS Motor Company Collaboration was the G 310 platform and the company has achieved a production milestone of 50,000 for the new motorcycles. TVS announced that the company has rolled out the 50,000th unit of the BMW 310 cc motorcycle from its Hosur plant. The motorcycle was rolled out in the presence of Dr. Markus Schramm, Head of BMW Motorrad, and Mr. KN Radhakrishnan, Director & CEO, TVS Motor Company. TVS-BMW produce three motorcycles based on the 310 cc platform including the BMW G 310 R, BMW G 310 GS and the TVS Apache RR 310. The 50,000th motorcycle to rollout is a G 310 R.
After two decades of pure motorcycle mayhem, Suzuki has finally decided to pull the plug on the Hayabusa for the European markets. The 2019 Suzuki Hayabusa will be the last examples made for EU with the next generation or replacement model yet to be announced. Having said that, the Suzuki Hayabusa will continue to be sold in India as a 2019 model, which is likely to be the iconic motorcycle's final year of production globally. The news does emerge as rather bitter-sweet given the following the motorcycle garnered over the years globally. In India, the Hayabusa is priced at Rs. 13.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Hero MotoSports, the motorsport division of Hero MotoCorp, has announced its team for the 2019 Dakar Rally team which consists of CS Santosh, Joaquim Rodrigues and Oriol Mena.

The new range including a jacket, gloves and balaclava and has been designed to protect the rider from harsh winter conditions when on two-wheels. The Ignyte Rider Pro jacket is priced at Rs. 13,359 and comes with detachable waterproof and thermal liners, along with a water-repellent polyester breathable fabric on the outer shell. You also get water proof pockets for your mobile and wallet. The riding jacket is equipped with CE Level 1 armour for the back, shoulder and elbows.
Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 were introduced last month at a stellar price tag. The price range for the 650 twins starts at Rs. 2.34 lakh (ex-showroom in certain markets), going up to Rs. 2.70 lakh for the range-topping chrome version. With deliveries begun, Royal Enfield has now revealed the accessories list on the 650 twins along with its prices. Much like the motorcycles, the accessories too are cost effective ranging between Rs. 600 and Rs. 6000. Like all offerings, the 650 Twins also get its individual merchandise.
Following the launch in November, MotoRoyale has added a new assembly line at its Ahmednagar based facility in Maharashtra, where the FB Mondial HPS 300 will be assembled. The Italian motorcycle is the most affordable offering in MotoRoyale's stable priced at Rs. 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom) and is designed as a scrambler-styled offering. The company has recieved about 100 bookings for the HPS 300 that competes against the KTM 390 Duke, BMW G 310 R, and the likes. FB Mondial is one of the nine motorcycle brands handled by Kinetic MotoRoyale in India.
The BMW G 310 R, and the BMW G 310 GS are being offered with benefits totalling Rs. 70,000 by some BMW Motorrad India dealers. The offers include free insurance, cash discount of Rs. 25,000 and a special reduced rate of interest on finance schemes.
