Project CARS is steadily becoming one of the top racing games in recent years, offering realistic and fabulous experiences along with a stellar line-up of cars and real-world tracks for racing. The game has already being tested extensively throughout its burgeoning and loyal gaming community and many such gamers have chipped in towards its creation, owing to the novel crowd funding approach adopted by Slightly Mad Games. CARS here is an acronym for Community Assisted Racing Simulator.

If you are one of those gamers with a thirst for speed, you should take a closer look at some tips and tricks sourced from serious peers in the Project CARS community.

- Project CARS is unlike conventional racing games where every course offers support for a similar number of vehicles. The count of opponents allowed for every track is fully dependent upon the available pit spaces. The Le Mans track is where you will find a filled-up racing grid.
- The AI is highly dynamic in Project CARS and inspired by racing in real life where drivers can be unpredictable, take risks and may overtake you all of a sudden. They may also be defensive as well. Racers can also adopt various routes through corners. The AI setup may seem slightly aggressive although you can learn some serious skills as a result. It is not always the best way to try and overtake everybody at the very first corner that you come across.
- Track races lead to the build-up of what we know as tyre rubber that offers grip. A rubbered in track is quicker than a regular clean track. The surface for racing may have 3-4% additional grip as compared to testing days. In case of rainfall, there could be the removal of additional build-up of rubber.
- Some tyres depend upon down-force for integrating heat into the same although you will have to rely on them while cornering. Check temperature on the track while choosing a proper compound for prevailing conditions or adjusting the tyre pressure. Project CARS is hugely realistic in this context.
- Most cars have varying attributes and you should keep adjusting in order to match your style of driving. Keep shuffling your style in order to stay in sync with each vehicle that you choose.
- Practice with the gears properly before you get into any racing challenge.
- You can also take a closer look at Race Control, the online video series for Project CARS. This will help you get advice, guidance and tips regarding cars, handling, skills, and more.
