Jawa Motorcycles resurrected from the ashes last year as a Mahindra Group company and the brand has been slowly streamlining its operations with faster product deliveries and dealers over the recent months. As the brand comes close to completing its first year of operations, Jawa has introduced the new Jawa Anniversary Edition that will go on sale soon. The limited-edition series celebrates the 90th anniversary of the Czech bike maker that was established in 1929, and the production run too will be restricted to just 90 units. However, the point that should take all your attention is that the Jawa 90th Anniversary Edition will be available for immediate delivery.

TVS Motor Company has updated the popular-selling Apache RTR 200 4V with Bluetooth-enabled SmartXonnect mobile app technology. The updated TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is priced at Rs. 1.14 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is marginally higher than the current model. The Bluetooth connectivity feature allows users to connect their smartphones with the motorcycle with the digital instrument console displaying a number of functions including navigation, race telemetry, tour mode, lean angle mode, crash alert and call/SMS notification. The feature was first introduced on the TVS NTorq 125 scooter and the Apache RTR 200 4V becomes the second offering in the brand's family to the same. In addition, the updated TVS Apache RTR 200 4V will get an updated console and a gold finish racing chain.

A media report quoting trademark filings has hinted at BMW Motorrad introducing 'M' models for some road and off-road motorcycles, just like the M series cars the German automotive giant offers.

The Italian motorcycle brand's strategic five-year plan focusses on increasing its dealership footprint in emerging markets, as well as new product development in premium and mid-size bikes.
