    Select Triumph Motorcycles India dealerships have started accepting bookings for the upcoming Street Triple R street-fighter, ahead of its launch later this month, carandbike can confirm. The booking amount is around Rs. 1 lakh, depending on the dealership for the entry-level variant in the Street Triple family. The British bike maker had introduced the 2020 Triumph Street Triple RS in April this year, and the new R will come to a more affordable price point while packing slightly less sophisticated hardware and power from the same 765 cc Moto2 developed motor. The Triumph Street Triple R is scheduled to go on sale by the end of June 2020.

    Milwaukee-based motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson has updated prices on the Street Rod Vivid Black shade that now gets a price cut of Rs. 56,500 over the other variants. The 2020 Harley-Davidson Street Rod Vivid Black is now priced at Rs. 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and is about Rs. 68,000 cheaper than the other colour options on the motorcycle including grey, orange and white. The Harley-Davidson Street Rod shares its underpinnings with the entry-level Street 750 in the brand's line-up and is the sportier derivative with a more aggressive riding stance and higher compression ratio from the same V-Twin motor for more power.

    India Kawasaki Motor (IKM) has announced the resumption of operations at its dealerships across the country. The Japanese bike maker has temporarily closed dealerships following the announcement of the nationwide lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Kawasaki has about 30 dealerships across India, 29 of which are now operational, according to the list shared by the company. The Ludhiana dealership is the one that's currently missing on the list. In addition to sales, the outlets will also start servicing the vehicles while dealers have already been accepting bookings for the brand's BS6 compliant range of motorcycles.
