Updated Kawasaki Motorcycle Range Prices Announced For India

India Kawasaki Motor (IKM) announced last month of a seven per cent price hike across its motorcycle range in the country. While the manufacturer did not reveal the prices at the time, the updated price list has now been released and prices have increased between Rs. 1900 and Rs. 3.80 lakh across the company's line-up. In a positive move, the Japanese bike maker has not hiked prices on certain models including the Ninja 300, Versys X-300, Versys 650, Ninja ZX-6R, ZX-14R among others. The Kawasaki Ninja 300 remains the best-selling model from the company at present and its most affordable too priced at Rs. 2.98 lakh (ex-showroom).

Bajaj Pulsar Range Crosses 1 Lakh Monthly Sales Milestone For The First Time

The Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle range remains one of the more popular sporty offerings in the country and has been a best-seller for the bike maker over the years. In March 2019 though, the bike range achieved a new high with sales for the Pulsar line-up crossing the one lakh sales milestone in a single month. This is for the first time that the Bajaj Pulsar bikes have crossed the milestone in the domestic market, while monthly volumes on average have been around 45,000-60,000 units. Compared to March 2018, sales for the Pulsar series helped Bajaj grow by 39 per cent year-on-year.

Bajaj Launches CT100 And Discover 125 With CBS

Bajaj Auto has introduced combined braking system on the Bajaj CT100 and the Bajaj Discover 125, in accordance with the law of all two-wheelers in India needing to have either CBS or ABS compulsorily after 1 April, 2019. The Bajaj CT100 will be available in three variants which are spoke, alloy, and alloys with electric start. The spoke model is priced at Rs. 33,152 while the alloy model is priced at Rs. 35,936 and the top model with alloys and electric start is priced at Rs. 41,587. The overall hike in prices of the CT100 ranges from Rs. 700 to Rs. 1,100.

KTM 125 Duke Gets A Price Hike Of Rs. 6800

KTM India's most affordable offering has just received a price hike for the new financial year. The KTM 125 Duke is now more expensive by Rs. 6800, and is now priced at Rs. 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Launched late last year, the bike was introduced at a price of Rs. 1.18 lakh, which incidentally was also the asking price for the KTM 200 Duke when it was launched way back in 2012. While the price hike may seem a little steep, sales for the 125 cc motorcycle are off to a good start for the manufacturer. In fact, the 125 Duke managed to outsell the complete KTM Duke range in the country including the 200, 250 and the 390 models between December 2018 and February 2019.
