BMW M4 Coming Soon to India

The BMW M4 Coupe, that made its debut at the 2014 Detroit Motor Show, is now all set to arrive on our shores. Mr Philipp Von Sahr, President, BMW India, had earlier spoken about the company's wish to bring the 'M' Series models in India by 2014. Keepin in with its words, BMW has already launched the M6 Gran Coupe, the M4 will be here next month, and the M5 will be launched by the end of this year.

The company has begun teasing M4 on its social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. The M4 is essentially a new-generation M3 coupe with a different name.

Powering the vehicle is a mighty 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder, twin-turbo engine that can churn out a maximum power output of 431bhp along with a peak torque of 550Nm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels of the car via either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. When mated to the 7-speed transmission, the car touches the 0-100Km/h mark within 4.1 seconds, whereas with the 6-speed manual gearbox, it does 0-100Km/h in 4.3 seconds.
