Highlights

Yes, it is Lewis Hamilton who secured a pole position for the Spanish Grand Prix by beating team-mate Nico Rosberg by 0.168s.

Having topped the FP3 time charts, Rosberg looked to continue even in the Qualification round, but Hamilton moved quickly in the final lap as he went quickest in the final two sectors to secure pole position. Daniel Ricciardo was third for Red Bull but a second adrift of Hamilton's time while team-mate Vettel will start from tenth place.

Vettel emerged from the pit lane for his first run of Q3 when he stopped at Turn 3, radioing in to tell the team: "I have no drive, I'm sorry, I have no drive". Hamilton infact went past the Red Bull car and radioed in saying, "The Red Bull was in the way"

Starting in fourth place will be Williams Valtteri Bottas followed by Romain Grosjean in fifth, Kimi Raikkonen in sixth and Alonso in seventh. Button, Massa and Vettel complete the top 10 on the grid.

Force India's endured a disappointing day as Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez dropped out in Q2.

It is yet another Mercedes lock up at the front of the grid and the only hope for Red Bull yet again is Ricciardo. However, homeboy Alonso will be disappointed with his 7th place start but we'll see how the Ferrari's and McLaren's challenge the Mercedes.
