Ford EcoSport Titanium S and Signature Trims' Launch Date Revealed

Ford India unveiled the new generation EcoSport last year on the carandbike.com website, while the prices were announced in November. The new EcoSport retails at Rs. 7.82 lakh for the base trim and goes up to Rs. 10.52 lakh for the top-end variant. However, considering how popular the EcoSport is, Ford India has announced the introduction of two new variants, the Titanium S and the Titanium Signature variants with a launch slated for on May 14, 2018. The top of the line Titanium S and the Titanium Signature variants will get the performance-oriented 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine, stiffer suspension and a bunch of new features along with cosmetic changes.

In terms of design, the EcoSport Titanium S variant will first and foremost get the 'S' badging on the boot lid. Up front, the front grille goes all black, smoked projector headlamps with LED DRLs. Moreover, it will also offer black cladding surrounds for the foglamps and black roof rails. The most notable change is the new sporty alloy wheels that look much cooler than the standard one. However, this may result in the 17-inch wheels on the Titanium+ replaced with smaller 16-inch wheels. At rear, the EcoSport Titanium S variant also gets black roof-mounted spoiler with integrated brake lights. Moreover, the Titanium S will also get a tweaked instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch display and orange highlights on the seats and door trim. On the other hand, the Titanium Signature trim will get a spoiler, blue highlights on the seats and door trim, Electronic stability control (ESC) and Hill Launch Assist (HLA). And don't forget the electronic sunroof on both the new variants and the Signature badge on the boot-lid.
