Ford India Registers Growth In Sales By 27 Per Cent In December 2017

- Ford sold 5,087 vehicles in India in the month of December 2017
- Ford launched the EcoSport Facelift in India this year
- The company exported 24,708 units in December 2017
Ford India had an exciting 2017, with the launch of the new EcoSport and ending the year on a high with a registering a growth of 27 per cent. Ford recorded a combined domestic and exports sale of 29,795 vehicles in December compared to 23,470 vehicles in the same month last year. The American car-makers sold 5,087 vehicles in domestic wholesales compared to 5,566 vehicles the corresponding month last year. Exports in December stood at 24,708 vehicles against 17, 904 vehicles a year ago.

The combined domestic wholesales and exports in 2017 stood at 2,62,784 vehicles compared to 2,38,098 units in 2016, marking its highest production & wholesale volume ever.

In 2017, Ford came out with the Figo Sports and Aspire Sports performance versions along with the new generation EcoSport . Moreover, the company has also commenced with the export of the new EcoSport to its North America market.
