GM India Achieves New Export Milestone For Chevrolet Beat

- The Beat is sold in over 70 markets across the globe
- It was the sixth most exported passenger vehicle from India in FY 2015-16
- In India, the Beat is produced at GM's facility at Talegaon, Maharashtra
The Beat, known as the Spark outside India, is sold in over 70 markets across the globe and has sold more than 1 million units. Among other international manufacturing locations, the Chevy Beat is produced at the company's facility at Talegaon, Maharashtra.

In 2015, GM India exported 21,000 Chevrolet vehicles to 40 countries, including Chile and Mexico. The company adds this year its exports from India will grow significantly with an additional 50,000 units, thus emphasizing the importance of the market and its strong local supplier base.
