Hero Splendor iSmart - 2015 CNB Viewers' Choice Award Nominee

Hero first showcased the Splendor iSmart at the Delhi Auto expo last year and with it jumped into the highly competitive 100cc segment with a premium product. The styling cues might be similar to that of the Super Splendor but there are lots of new things when it comes to technology.
The bike's unique feature is the i3S (intelligent Start-Stop System), which Hero claims will increase the fuel-efficiency of the already frugal bike even more. This start-stop system is similar to the one we see in cars of today. When you switch on the system and come to a halt after putting the bike in neutral, the engine shuts off after 5 seconds. Whenever you are ready to move again, just press the clutch and the engine will come back to life.
On the styling front, the Splendor iSmart receives a three-tone paint option and aluminium finished foot-pegs. The instrument cluster is new, with the addition of a side-stand-down indicator.
