- As much as possible, try to avoid travelling in the dark. If you still need to ride at night, make sure to turn on your headlights and use colourful reflectors.
- Do not keeping shifting lanes on highways. As we already mentioned, the vehicles rush at high speed. At such road conditions, frequent lane switching is not recommended.
- Use low beams as much as possible. However, don't shy from using high beams when you need to get a complete view of the road at night.
- If the horn of your vehicle is relatively feeble, send alerts using flickering head lights.
- Do not attack the corners at the highway at a high speed. It is because if there is an oncoming vehicle or pedestrian around the corner, you'll have little to no time to hit the brakes or react.
- Do not accelerate or brake hard when approaching the corners of the road.
- Most people would be aware of this tip, but highway or not, you should not drive a motorcycle without a helmet. Additionally, make sure your companion is using a helmet as well.
- Always keep an eye on your rear mirrors. Every four or five seconds, give a glance to the mirrors to see if any vehicle is approaching. This step will allow you to check if any cars is too close.
Driving on the highway is not easy as large-sized vehicles are always gushing around. Keep these tips in mind to have a safe driving experience.
