Komaki Electric Vehicles Teases Electric Cruiser Motorcycle

Delhi-based electric vehicle manufacturer, Komaki Electric Vehicles has announced that it will launch India's first electric cruiser motorcycle in January 2022. The company has released a teaser image showing a silhouette of the upcoming electric cruiser motorcycle. No other details have been released. According to the company, the new electric cruiser motorcycle will be an affordable product, and is expected to be a game-changer in the electric two-wheeler segment. Komaki already offers four electric bikes in the Indian market, and the company says with the new electric cruiser, it will be looking to dominate the electric vehicle industry.

The Komaki M5 electric motorcycle comes with a range of 120 km on a single charge.
Talking about the much-awaited launch, Gunjan Malhotra, Director, Komaki Electric Division, said, "This is something that we've been working on for quite a while. Our ultimate aim is to satisfy the needs of every customer segment. Now that we have established a strong foothold in the utility segment, we're looking to cater to the demands of the leisure segment as well. The launch of our new cruiser is a statement that EVs aren't just for everyday use. They can be a great leisure companion as well. We know that many people have been waiting for an offering like this for a long time, and we're glad to have manufactured India's first electric cruiser."

The Komaki SE looks identical to the Okinawa iPraise. It is offered in 3 colour options
Komaki Electric Vehicles offers electric scooters like the TN95 and SE, both in the electric scooter segment. The manufacturer says that the new SE electric scooter competes against conventional 125 cc scooters and is powered by a 3 kW BLDC electric motor with a detachable lithium-ion battery pack. The Komaki SE offers a top speed of 85 kmph with a range of 95-125 km on a single charge. The TN95 is a big electric scooter designed for Indian families. It gets a storage box mounted at the rear along with a metallic guard around the body. The scooter has a range of 100-150 km on a single charge and it gets a detachable lithium-ion battery.
