MV Agusta And Lewis Hamilton Reveal Special Edition F4 LH44 Bike

Italian motorcycle manufacturer MV Agusta and Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton recently teamed up to release a new special edition bike - the MV Agusta F4 LH44. Based on the manufacturer's most potent motorcycle, the F4 RC, MV Agusta will be making only 44 examples of this limited edition bike and it's expected to be priced somewhere around $72,000, which is roughly about a little over Rs. 47 lakh. The bike was teased a couple of day ago on Lewis Hamilton's twitter handle and now we finally have it in flesh and blood. As you might have already guessed, the LH in the name stands for Lewis Hamilton while the 44 is his Formula One car number.

Talking about teaming up with MV Agusta and also the F4 LH44, Lewis Hamilton said, "My projects with MV Agusta are a great way to combine my love of riding bikes with my interest in creative design process so I am very much involved with the CRC design team throughout. I am particularly excited to introduce my new bike, the F4 LH44. It looks quite stunning and I had the pleasure of riding on track a few weeks ago in Italy, it feels great and combines the best of both worlds, a race bike for the road! There will be 44 bikes produced so I hope the lucky owners will love it as much as I do."

Powering the new MV Agusta F4 LH44 is the same 998 cc, 4-cylinder engine the powers the F4 RC but this one comes with comes with a kit that includes a titanium silencer and control unit as well. This kit boosts the power from 205 bhp to 212 bhp while the engine develops a peak torque of 115 Nm and comes mated to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox with a quick shifter.

Visually, the new MV Agusta F4 LH44 is painted in a bold Candy Apple Red colour and features a pearl white frame. Also both the front forks and rear monoshock suspensions from Ohlins come in this new black theme instead of the standard gold colour, to match the sharp black graphics and the black elements of the bike. In fact, the engine is also completely black. The F4 LH44 also features Lewis Hamilton's panther logo, which is one of the things that make it special.

Among other features, the MV Agusta F4 LH44 comes with a seat that is a mix of leather and Alcantara, while the fairings are made from carbon fibre. The bike also comes with a racing-style fuel cap, forged wheels, a CNC-machine rear wheel nut, and exclusively designed Pirelli Supercorsa SPs with red sidewalls and the LH44 logo.
