MV Agusta Becomes Independent; Completes Separation From KTM

- MV Agusta is now fully owned by Art of Mobility

MV Agusta S.p.A. has announced that it has completed the separation from KTM which has returned 100 per cent ownership of the company to Art of Mobility, its former owners. In January this year, KTM’s parent company Pierer Mobility had announced that it was selling MV Agusta to the Sardarov family, who previously had full ownership of the Italian motorcycle brand. The transaction is now complete with Art of Mobility getting full control of MV Agusta.

Art of Mobility has also announced MV Agusta’s new leadership team with Luca Martin appointed as Chief Executive Officer. Martin had previously served as MV Agusta’s deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer. Filippo Bassoli, President of Deus Ex Machina Italy, is joining the board and has been named Chief Brand & Marketing Officer. Art of Mobility CEO Timur Sardarov and his brother Ratmir Sardarov join the leadership team as non-executive Directors as representatives of Art of Mobility.
MV Agusta’s global sales network, including 219 active sales points and 41 service points will continue business as usual, a statement from the company said. The total network strength is expected to be increased to 270 this year.
