New EV Startup Prevail Electric Launches Three Electric Scooters In India

- Prevail Electric was incorporated in March 2021
- It launched three electric scooters - Elite, Finesse & Wolfury
- Prices for the electric scooters start at Rs. 89,999 (ex-showroom)
A new EV startup, Prevail Electric, has launched three new electric scooters in India - Elite, Finesse and Wolfury. The Elite is priced at Rs. 129,999, Finesse at Rs. 99,999 and the Wolfury is most affordable of them all, priced at Rs. 89,999. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. Incorporated in March 2021, Prevail is one of the newest EV startups in India. All three scooters are made of high-tensile steel and get Aluminium alloy wheel hubs. The three scooters weight in at 80 kg, which is without the battery, of course.

(The Prevail Elite is the top-spec electric scooter from the company)
The Elite electric scooter is the top-spec model, and gets a range of 110 km on a single charge. It is a high-speed scooter with maximum speed of 80 kmph and has a load carrying capacity of 200 kg. The scooter gets a removable lithium-ion battery, which can be charged fully in 4 hours. The model comes with a control model of 55A controller with a one-click fix function. The scooter also gets an integrated LCD screen which can be paired to a smartphone.

(The Prevail Finesse is priced at Rs. 99,999)
Up next is the Finesse, which gets a top speed of 60 kmph with a maximum load carrying capacity of 200 kg. The Finesse too gets a range of 110 km on a single charge and gets a swappable battery, as an option. The model comes with a control model of a 12-tube brushless controller with a one-click fix function.

(The Prevail Wolfury is priced at Rs. 89,999)
Lastly, the Wolfury is the base scooter model and it has a top speed of 50 kmph along with a range of 110 km and a maximum load capacity of 200 kg. The model comes with a control model of a 12-tube brushless controller with a one-click fix function.
Speaking on the launch, Hemant Bhatt, CEO of Prevail Electric said, "After months of research and development, we are finally ready to launch our new scooter models. The young generation is much more concerned about climate change and global warming than their predecessors, which is why they are opting for more sustainable yet economic options. Our brand new three scooter models with premium features and commendable speed are ready to revolutionise the e-mobility space in India."
All scooters produce mechanical power of up to 1,000W in a single charge. They also get mobile charging ports, LED headlights and can climb a 30 degree gradient. The scooters also come with five speed-change options. The company is yet to reveal the complete set of features and specifications.
