Studds Accessories Ltd., the world's largest two-wheeler helmet manufacturer by volume, has launched a new full-face helmet, called the Studds Shifter D5 Decor helmet. The Shifter D5 Decor has been priced at Rs. 2,265, and is available in two different finish options, gloss and matte finish, and in 10 different colour options. The Shifter D5 Decor is available in three sizes, Medium (570 mm), Large (580 mm) and Extra Large (600 mm). According to the company, the helmet comes with a UV-resistant paint which protects the helmet colour from fading and has a long-lasting finish.

The Studds Shifter D5 Decor helmet is also available in matte finish colours and is offered in three sizes
The Shifter D5 Decor helmet comes with features like silicone coated quick release visor, aerodynamic design, regulated density expanded polystyrene (EPS), hypoallergenic and replaceable liner, quick release chin strap, top air vents and chin air vents and air exhausts feature for superior riding comfort. The outer shell is injected with special high impact grade of engineering thermoplastic for extra protection.

According to Studds, the aerodynamic shape of the helmet reduces the drag pressure when the helmet is worn by the rider, and the quick release feature of the chin strap provides convenience and ease of use. The silicone coated dual visor is also said to offer better comfort to riders. The helmet also comes with an inner padding of high quality fabric, a statement from Studds Accessories said. Studds has also launched a new riding jacket range, in addition to several new helmet models in India, which are priced affordably, offering good quality protection to riders.
