Top 10 Selling Cars in November 2015

Maruti Suzuki as usual remained on top of things and the Alto sold in large numbers and topped the charts in November and according to the data collated by ET Auto, Maruti Suzuki managed to sell 21995 units of the Alto, though it has faced some tough competition thanks to the launch of the Renault Kwid.

The other usual suspects from the Maruti Suzuki stable made it to list too. The Dzire came in second as it managed to reach in 18826 homes, while the Wagon R was the third as it sold 13986 units. Maruti Suzuki's momentum comes to a halt thanks to the Hyundai Grand i10 as it posted a steady growth and a strong sales figure of 12,899 units.

Up in fifth place is the Maruti Suzuki Swift and it manages to stay a good 2000 odd units ahead of the newly launched Baleno which finds itself in sixth place. As we've told you earlier, the Baleno has surpassed its biggest rival in the segment - the Hyundai i20. The Baleno closed in on the 10,000 mark but couldn't quite achieve it. The Maruti Suzuki Baleno managed to push out 9074 units thereby establishing it as a very strong contender in the Indian car market.

The Hyundai Eon and the Maruti Suzuki Celerio are the next two cars on the list while Honda's formidable competitor the City rounds off the top 10. The biggest surprise was that the Hyundai Creta hasn't made it to the top 10 and well, in fact even the Honda Amaze didn't make it to this list. We also miss the Mahindra Bolero being there but well, we know it's in the top 20. The race to be in the top 10 will continue and with the Delhi Auto Expo around the corner, we can expect a fresh assault of vehicles in the Indian car market.
