Triumph Starts Accepting Orders for Its New Bonneville Series

Triumph Motorcycles has announced that it has started accepting orders for its new Bonneville range of motorcycles through its 12 dealerships in the Indian market. The new models will be showcased at the upcoming Auto Expo and will have the new engines Triumph has developed to keep the Bonneville range updated. Triumph has, however, not revealed any information about which models it has started accepting orders for, or the pricing of these models.
The new Bonneville range of motorcycles now includes two all-new engines that Triumph has developed for its new Bonneville series. These 900cc and 1,200cc engines will power five variants across the line-up - Street Twin, T120, T120 Black, Thruxton and Thruxton R. Where the most-affordable Bonneville - Street Twin - will have a 900cc engine; T120, T120 Black, Thruxton and Thruxton R will have the new 1,200cc engine.
The Street Twin will replace the existing Bonneville which has an 865cc engine. Triumph has still not confirmed if all the five motorcycles will make it to the Indian market, but sources close to Triumph have claimed that in the first phase, only Street Twin, T120 and Thruxton will come to India.
Commenting on the commencement of bookings, Vimal Sumbly, MD, Triumph Motorcycles, India, said, "We are extremely excited to bring in the new range of our iconic Bonneville to Indian customers. They are exactly what our customers have asked for and what the next generation of Bonneville should be - more beautiful, more powerful and more capable. We are thrilled to see the positive buzz going around in the media; this new line-up is expected to be huge for the Indian market."
