2014 Auto Expo: 110000 turn up on Day 2 of the Auto Expo
Not even the unpredictable Delhi rain manage to dampen the spirits of the Auto enthusiasts in Delhi. Thousands of them made a dash towards Greater Noida to witness the future of automobiles that was on display. The thousands soon turned to lakhs only on the second day since it has been opened for the public.
The overwhelming response to the Expo put a smile on the face of the exhibitors as well as the organisers but at the end of the day it was a challenge to manage the crowd. As people thronged into the Halls where Audi, BMW and Mercedes were placed, the exhibitors had to shut the hall for a brief while so that the crowd could be controlled and the consequent mayhem would'nt set in.
The day also saw visits from Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar and even people from the political circle, namely Sachin Pilot and Shiv Pal Yadav.
Don't forget though that the components Expo too is on at the Pragati maidan where future in-car technology and other components manufacturers have displayed their future products. Just a few more days to go for the Auto Expo to come to a close, so hurry up and don't miss one bit of it!
