2019 Audi TT Coupe Facelift Revealed, Receives Subtle Design Updates

It's been over two decades now since the original TT was introduced, and in 2018, Audi has introduced the Audi TT Coupe in its third generation avatar. The 2019 Audi TT Coupe facelift has received a comprehensive update for the European market and is now more sporty with refined exterior design. Audi has also made sure that the TT Coupe Facelift comes loaded with the latest gizmos and tech to keep you occupied even when not driving.

Visually, the Audi TT Coupe Facelift is more masculine and even more progressive than its predecessor. The front features a three-dimensional single-frame radiator grille, with large side air inlets that emphasize the width. At the back, the horizontal lines underscore the width of the new Audi TT Coupe Facelift and there is no cap underneath the tank flap with its classic TT design. The headlights with LED or Matrix LED technology come as an option. The optional S line exterior package gets a full-length front splitter, vertical air inlets, a radiator grille in titanium black and specific side sills with inserts as well as a sporty rear end. In terms of dimensions, the Audi TT Coupe Facelift measures 4190mm in length, while the wheelbase measures 2510 mm and sits on 17-inch wheels. The company also offers 18, 19 and 20-inch wheels.

Audi has refined the design of the new TT, enhanced its performance and extended the range of the standard equipment's. The basic version of the TT Coupe Facelift now features the Audi drive select dynamic handling system, a rain and light sensor, heated exterior mirrors and the multifunction steering wheel plus, with which the infotainment and voice control system can be controlled entirely using the steering wheel. Moreover, the company has also made standard the illuminated USB ports with Bluetooth for wireless pairing of devices.

The new TT Coupe Facelift comes with three engine options- a 2.0-litre, TFSI engine churns out 194bhp, while the 2.0-litre, 45 TFSI engine produces 245bhp. The third option is the more potent 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that delivers 302bhp and can go from 0-100kmph in just 4.5 seconds. The engine comes mated to either a 6-Speed manual transmission or a 7-Speed dual-clutch transmission. Audi also offers progressive steering, four-link rear suspension and Electronic Stabilization Control (ESC), while the wheel-selective torque control gets activated in fast cornering which improves handling.
