BMW's made in India motorcycle has already made its debut internationally and gets new colour options. The bike will be available in the Cosmic Black Two and the Kyanite Blue Metallic colour options as part of the upgrade. With respect to the new colour choices, the 2022 BMW G 310 R in the Cosmic Black Two shade gets a black finish on the chassis, wheels and body panels. Meanwhile, the Kyanite Blue Metallic shade gets red wheels and chassis, bringing a nice contrast. There are also red and blue graphics on the headlamp cowl, fuel tank, and tail section. BMW Motorrad also discontinued the Polar White colour option overseas with the 2022 model, which could be the case in India as well.

Barring the new colours, the 2022 BMW G 310 R does not get any other change. The bike continues to get the LED headlamp, digital instrument cluster, and a step-style seat. Power comes from the same 313 cc single-cylinder engine that's tuned to produce 33.5 bhp and 28 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike also gets telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear, while braking performance comes from disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.
