Here are some extremely important factors which must be monitored on an ongoing basis to avoid any unpleasant experiences while driving: -

Ignition timing
Ignition timing should be checked for the car if possible. If there is any significant delay or it turns out to be unresponsive, immediate repairs should be done.
Replacing the air filter
The air filter performs a very important task inside the engine. This filter is responsible for preventing unwanted materials from entering the main chamber. If these particles go inside, they will cause misfires or even explosions. The air filter, over time, gets clogged or lose out of its position. It is advisable to either have it cleaned up or replace the filter entirely, which is easy.
Fuel cleaning
The fuel injector can get clogged due to repeated use. There are a few ways to clean it out, which include:
- Using a special fuel injector cleaner that professionals use.
- Focusing on the throttle body. A lot of dirt and debris can get deposited on it, which can cause major problems. That should be cleaned out.
- Lubrication of the throttle plate and body to avoid any future dirt deposition.
- Lubrication of the various moving parts like cylinders and rings.
- Using a deposit cleaner to dissolve the dirt particles.
