Director Karan Johar Brings Home The Audi A8 L

Karan Johar is known for his eclectic style and larger than life films and the director has now added the Audi A8 L saloon to his garage to ferry him the same way. Audi India recently shared the development on its social media handles. The A8 L is the automaker's flagship luxury saloon and packs some impressive levels of power and performance, along with a host of tech-wizardry. Johar has had an interesting choice of luxury saloons over the years right from the Jaguar XJ L, Mercedes-Maybach S-Class to now the Audi A8 L.

The Audi A8 L arrived in India in 2020 and it managed to impress the carandbike jury enough to be crowned the CNB Luxury Car Of The Year 2021. It's pinnacle of luxury in the Audi saloon family. India gets only the long-wheelbase edition that now comes with the upright single-frame grille, sharply designed headlamp cluster with Matrix LEDs, and the full-length light strip at the rear. It also gets rear-wheel steering to help change directions, reduce the turning radius and ease parking in tight spots.
The cabin has been completed updated and the model comes with Virtual Cockpit, ambient lighting, perforated seats, dual touchscreen systems for the infotainment system and other consoles, matrix LED reading lights, and more. Audi also offers a rear seat entertainment system that includes two tablets and a rear seat remote with an OLED display. It also gets the optional relaxation seat feature, foot massage function, wireless panoramic sunroof, and an embeeded e-SIM that makes this car connected.

The Audi A8 L is powered by the 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo petrol engine that develops 336 bhp and 500 Nm
Power on the new Audi A8 L comes from the 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, petrol engine coupled with an electric motor. The engine belts out 336 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque and can pull the car to triple-digit speeds in 5.7 seconds.
On the work front, Karan Johar recently announced his next directorial - Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani starring actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the primary roles. He is also producing movies like Shershaah, Sooryavanshi, Brahmastra, Dostana 2, Meenakshi Sundareshwar among many more.
