Suzuki has unveiled the 2026 SV-7GX at the EICMA show in Milan, Italy. The Suzuki SV-7GX has been touted as a road-oriented crossover motorcycle with 17-inch wheels, and combines the technical base of the legendary Suzuki SV650 with the styling of the Suzuki GSX-S1000GX. According to Suzuki, the SV-7GX is a crossover model that fuses the sportiness of a street model with the comfort of an adventure model.

The 645cc v-twin has the same bore and stroke but has been tweaked to meet the latest emission regulations, with ride-by-wire throttle, a redesigned intake and a revised exhaust with additional oxygen sensors to monitor the catalytic converter’s performance.

Three riding modes, three-level adjustable traction control and a bi-directional quickshifter are also offered. The v-twin engine’s output is rated at 73 bhp and 64 Nm and claimed fuel consumption is 24 kmpl. With a 17.4-litre fuel tank, claimed maximum range is over 400 km on a tankful.

The SV-7GX runs on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with Pirelli Angel GT II tyres. Suspension hardware consists from a 41 mm telescopic fork with 125 mm travel and a preload adjustable monoshock with 129 mm of travel. Ground clearance is 135 mm and seat height is 795 mm, with the bike claiming a kerb weight of 211 kg.

On the features list, there’s full LED lighting, a 4.2-inch TFT display, adjustable windscreen as well as Bluetooth connectivity to the instrument console. This opens up other features like call and message displays, music functions and turn-by-turn navigation. The Suzuki SV-7GX will be available from mid-2026 and so far, there’s no word on India availability. In international markets, it will compete with the likes of the Kawasaki Versys 650 and the Yamaha Tracer 7.
