F1: Fun Red Bull Promo Video Shows Perez Jumping From A Helicopter

- Perez jumps from a helicopter as a part of a promotional activity
- Perez's addition to Red Bull also brings new sponsors like Interpreteccio
- Perez is expected to make a big impact alongside Verstappen
Red Bull has gone full throttle of promotions as the 2021 season beckons being just about a month away. In a video now Red Bull shows Max Verstappen interacting with his new teammate Sergio Perez directing him to get ready fast as a helicopter awaits him. In the video, Perez is even seen jumping from the helicopter. This comes in the lead up to the team unveiling the livery of its 2021 car dubbed the RB16. Clearly, the PR and marketing function of Red Bull is in overdrive -- something for which the brand is known the world over where it sponsors music festivals, Bungie jumps and even jumps from the stratosphere.

The jump from the helicopter is also a node towards a new partnership with insurance company Interpreteccion. In the video, Verstappen tells Perez," Get to the helicopter, you've got thirty minutes!" And then the Mexican jumps from the helicopter in Mexico City descends by a parachute towards the headquarters of their new sponsor.
There are minor changes expected to the livery of the 2021 Red Bull but on the inside, the car is going to have a new Honda power unit which is also at the heart of the sister AlphaTauri team's new car which was announced yesterday. Honda is exiting F1 in 2022, but it has sold its IP to Red Bull which means the team will use the same engine till 2024.
