Fiat Abarth 595 Competizione Launched in India at Rs. 29.85 Lakh


Inspired by the Fiat 500 Cinquecento - the Abarth 595 Competizione's design primarily comprises Abarth decals, Xenon twin head-lamps, twin exhausts, sunroof, etc on offer to give sporty touch to it. Inside, it gets Sabelt racing seats, 7-inch TFT colour display instrument panel, split rear setas with head restraint, etc.
Its list of standard provisions for comfort includes manual climate control, leather steering-wheel with integrated controls, and rear parking sensors. Features for safety include airbags, torque transfer control, and suspensions with Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology.
Fiat will make the Abarth 595 Competizione available in a total of 4 colours, namely, Iridato White, Scorpione Black, Cordolo Red, and Campovolo Grey. The car will be brought to India via CBU and will initially be at select Fiat dealerships in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, and Bengaluru.

Kevin Flynn, President and Managing Director, FCA India Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., said, "The flagship model Abarth 595 Competizione, a sports performance coupe, is renowned world over for its sheer performance, iconic style, and rich heritage. With this launch, we are hoping to bring the same legacy to our India customers and are confident that Abart would provide a superior driving experience."
Mr Flynn also added that the company will also bring in the Punto Abarth. Though there was no mention of when the car will be launched in India, we believe it will be during the festive season.
