Hero Destini 125 XTEC Launched At Rs 79,990

- Destini 125 XTEC gets a LED headlamp and Bluetooth connectivity
- Cosmetic changes include additional chrome and new backrest
- Powered by a 9 bhp 125cc engine with i3S tech
Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Destini 125 XTEC in India priced at Rs 79,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Compared to the standard Destini 125, the XTEC gets a revised headlamp design along with additional chrome detailing, new exclusive colour options and additional features.
Speaking on the launch, Ranjivjit Singh, Chief Growth Officer, Hero MotoCorp, said, “The Destini 125 scooter enjoys a strong connect with the customers. Riders waiting for a distinctive experience will be drawn to the multi-faceted Hero Destini 125 XTEC. The new Destini 125 XTEC shows our continued technological advancements and follows after our other key scooter portfolio brands including Maestro Edge 125 Connect and Pleasure+ XTEC.
Starting with the cosmetics, the Destini 125 XTEC gets a new LED headlamp – said to provide “unprecedented illumination” - bracketed by chrome detailing. The mirrors too are new and feature chrome detailing while further chrome trim can be found on the rear aprons and the exhaust muffler. The XTEC also gets a new Nexus Blue paint shade exclusive to the variant and a rear backrest for the pillion.
Focusing on the tech, the Destini 125 XTEC gets a new digi-analogue instrument panel with Bluetooth connectivity and providing alerts for incoming calls and SMS. The XTEC also gets a new front USB charger and a side stand engine cut-off feature not allowing the rider to start the bike as long as the side stand is lowered.
Moving to the engine, the Destini 125 XTEC is powered by a 125cc single cylinder unit equipped with the company's i3S engine start-stop technology. The engine develops 9 bhp at 7000rpm and 10.4 Nm at 5500rpm.
