EICMA 2025: Hero Hunk 440 SX Unveiled

- Hero Hunk 440 SX revealed at EICMA 2025
- Gets a host of cosmetic changes over Mavrick 440

Alongside the Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition, the second petrol-powered model showcased by Hero MotoCorp at EICMA 2025 was the Hunk 440 SX. For the uninitiated, this motorcycle is essentially a reworked version of the Mavrick 440, featuring new styling and equipment that set it apart from both the standard model and the version (Hunk 440) sold overseas.

Focusing on what the SX essentially changes to the Hunk. The list includes twin-outlet upswept exhaust, compact flyscreen, split seats, knuckle guards, and new wheel designs. Mechanically, the standout bit is the addition of ride-by-wire throttle, which enables riding modes.
Other changes for the Hunk 440 SX include a larger 18-inch front wheel and switchable ABS and traction control. Moreover, it also gets a digital TFT display offering smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.

Powering the motorcycle is the same 440 cc air/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, which in the Mavrick made 27 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 36 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.
