Hero Maestro Edge Launched at Rs. 49,500; Duet Unveiled

Hero MotoCorp, the world's largest two-wheeler maker, today launched the much-awaited Maestro Edge scooter in the country. Available in LX and VX trims, the Maestro Edge is priced in the range of Rs. 49,500 - Rs. 50,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Though, deliveries for this scooter will only begin from 1st Navaratra i.e. October 13, 2015. The company also unveiled the Duet at the event, which will be launched in few weeks from now on.
While the Maestro Edge with its rough looks targets male buyers, the Duet is a unisex scooter. Both the scooters feature a new 110cc air-cooled engine that is good for 8.31bhp of power at 8000rpm, and 8.30Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. Both the scooters feature front telescopic suspension along with combined braking system.
The Hero Maestro Edge gets 12-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, new digital-analog metre console, redesigned head and tail-lamps, 3D emblem and few other exciting elements that make it looks more premium and sportier than the regular Maestro.Coming to the Duet, it will get an all new metal body and design, though it will share its components and engine with the Maestro Edge. The Duet gets chrome-finished rear panels, 3D emblem, twin hold grab rail, tubeless tyres, a digital-analogue console, etc.
