Hero MotoCorp Xtreme NXT Unveil Date Revealed

- Hero will unveil the Xtreme NXT on 30th January, 2018
- It was first showcased two years ago at the 2016 Auto Expo
- It will go up against the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and the TVS Apache RTR 200
Hero MotoCorp has recently released the unveiling details of the highly anticipated Xtreme 200S or the Xtreme NXT as Hero MotoCorp is calling it.The new bike will be revealed on 30th January 2018. The Hero Xtreme 200S was first showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo, as a concept and it almost took two years for the company to bring it in as a production model. It has been a quite a while since Hero updated any of its 150 cc plus models. After recently unveiling the 2018 range of its commuter motorcycles, Hero has finally turned its attention to the 200 cc - 300 cc segment, which is seeing a rapid growth in India and has seen such over the last two years.
(Hero Xtreme 200S)The Xtreme NXT would be powered by a 200 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which could pump out around 18.5 bhp of max power and 17 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. As far as looks and design is concerned, we believe that the styling of the Xtreme NXT will be sharp and edgy to keep it in the game with other popular 200 cc rivals such as the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
The Xtreme 200S will get disc brakes at both ends and could also be optionally fitted with anti-lock brakes (ABS). The model showcased at the Auto Expo had LED pilot lamps, LED tail lamps along with a dual-coloured seat and a digital-analogue instrumentation console. It is yet to be seen what all features Hero will be offering on the Xtreme NXT. We expect the price of the Hero Xtreme NXT to be kept between Rs. 90,000 and Rs. 1, 10,000.
