Honda Grazia Launch Date Announced

- The Honda Grazia is said to be a new offering for urban markets

Honda Grazia, the much-anticipated scooter from the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer will finally go on sale in India on November 8, 2017. The new Grazia is expected to be Honda's flagship 125 cc scooter and will be position above the Activa 125. We have already told you all that we know about the upcoming Honda Grazia, and have also shared the spy images that were leaked right around the time when Honda announced the scooter. We expect the new Honda Grazia to be priced in the range of Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 65,000 (ex-showroom) and it will compete with the likes of Suzuki Activa 125, Vespa VX 125 and the Mahindra Gusto 125.

The new Honda Grazia is expected to borrow its engine from the Activa 125, which packs a 124.9cc, air cooled, 4-stroke, SI engine that comes equipped with Honda Eco Technology (HET). The engine in the Activa 125 develops about 8.52 bhp at 6500 rpm and a peak torque of 10.54 Nm @ 5000 rpm and we expect the power figures to remain unchanged in the Grazia.

Honda is positioning the upcoming Grazia as an 'Advanced Urban Scooter' and it is targeted towards the young and urban buyers. Also, based on the spy shots we saw some time back, the upcoming Honda Grazia comes with a stylish and more upmarket look with a bunch of premium features like - dual tone paint scheme, chrome design elements, large twin headlamps and indicator lights with auto-headlamp on (AHO) function, a smart looking all-digital instrument cluster and premium quality plastic for switch gears among others.

n the equipment front, the scooter will also feature 12-inch black alloy wheels, front disc brake, possibly a 110 mm unit, Honda's combi breaking system (CBS), and telescopic front suspension.
