Indian Scout Bobber Bookings Open in India; Launch in September

- The booking amount for the Indian Scout Bobber is Rs. 50,000
- The ex-showroom, Delhi price is Rs. 12.99 lakh
- Indian Motorcycle will also offer a range of accessories as well
Indian motorcycle is all set to launch the Scout Bobber in September 2017. It was launched internationally recently and is the latest addition to the Indian Scout family. The company has already started taking bookings for the Indian Motorcycle Scout Bobber at a token price of Rs. 50,000. All customers need to do is pay the amount at any Indian Motorcycle outlet. The Scout Bobber pays homage to the 'bobber' motorcycles and gets similar styling as well. Short fenders, moulded leather seat, knobby tyres and a stripped down, bare bones look makes it a 'bobber' in every sense. The changes do not end there. The bike also gets bold lettered badges, headlamp shroud, new engine covers and bar-end mirrors as well. The handlebar is flat and the seating geometry has changed as well. One could also get a custom seat for the pillion as well.
(The Indian Scout Bobber will be available on sale in India by September 2017)
The Scout Bobber gets the same engine as the Indian Scout, which is a liquid-cooled, Thunder Stroke 111 V-Twin displacing 1,311 cc and making 100 bhp along with 97.7 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission unit. Indian will be offering the Scout Bobber in five colours which are Thunder Black, Star Silver Smoke, Bronze Smoke, Indian Motorcycle Red and Thunder Black Smoke. Indian Motorcycle will also offer a full range of customisation options and accessories for the Scout Bobber.
