Kia Carens Sales

Kia India is betting big on the Carens MPV and its one of the highly popular three-row MPVs on sale in India in under Rs. 20 lakh price range. The Kia Carens had already bagged over 50,000 bookings within a couple months of it hitting the road and now the Korean carmaker has confirmed that it has already sold 30,953 units in India in the last six months. The Kia Carens went on sale in India in February this year at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs. 8.99 lakh for the base Premium variant, going all the way up to Rs. 16.19 lakh for the range-topping Luxury Plus trim.

The Kia Carens went on sale in India In February this year.
Having said that, its prices were revised three months ago, where it saw an upward revision of up to Rs. 70,000. Ex-showroom prices of the Kia Carens now begin at Rs. 9.59 lakh for the base Premium variant, going all the way up to Rs. 17.69 lakh for the range-topping Luxury Plus trim. The MPV also replaced the Sonet as Kia's second-best seller behind the Seltos in March 2022.

The Luxury Plus variant has the option of blue and beige two-tone treatment.
The Kia Carens is offered in five variants - Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus and across three engine options along with the option of automatic gearboxes on two of the engines. The engine line-up includes a 113 bhp 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 113bhp 1.5-litre turbo-diesel and a 138bhp 1.4-litre turbo-petrol mill. A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard across all three units with the turbo-petrol and diesel getting the option of a 7-speed DCT and 6-speed torque converter automatic units, respectively.
