Seven-Seater Cars Under Rs. 20 Lakh

There are many cars that you can pursue in the sub-20 lakh bracket. There are many reputed manufacturers in India who offer the finest models in this price band. In fact, if you have the money to spend in this segment, then you can end up getting a lot more value for your money. This is possibly the most feature packed mid-range end of the market with not many choices to fill up the gaps between say the Rs. 20 lakh category and cars priced at Rs. 35-40 lakh and above.
Mahindra XUV700
The Mahindra XUV700 has once again set the cat amongst the pigeons in the sub-20 lakh category. Priced competitively with a long list of variants and a really jaw-dropping starting price tag, the XUV700 gets a major bucket list of features along with both petrol and diesel variants as well.

The Tata Safari utilizes a couple of Land Rover's D8 design elements, and Tata has named it OMEGARC. The Harrier SUV is the slightly smaller version of the Safari in terms of the design.

Mahindra Scorpio

The Scorpio is still going strong in the market although Mahindra & Mahindra is reportedly planning to launch the new-generation version sometime in 2022 itself as per reports.

Hyundai Alcazar
The Hyundai Alcazar is Hyundai's newest and possibly its most feature-packed entrant into this category. The Alcazar is priced competitively while being big brother to the Hyundai Creta and sporting the same front design. It has 7 seats however, along with a long feature list and powerful engines.
These are some vehicles that are definitely worth considering if you want a 7-seater SUV or MPV in this price bracket. There are many other good compact SUVs and sedans in this price band as well, although they are all 5-seater vehicles. One option worth considering is the MG Hector Plus which has a 6-seater variant.
