Lexus Launches LX 570 In India; Priced At Rs. 2.32 Crore

Just when you thought that Lexus has gone all silent with its launches in India, well there’s another one. The company has launched the LX 570 in India and has priced it at Rs. 2.32 crore (ex-showroom India) and bookings for the car have started from today at all Lexus dealerships across the country. The LX SUV was only available with the diesel engine till now in the 450d variant. However, the Lexus LX 570 gets a 5.7-litre V8 petrol engine. The Lexus LX 570 sits as the company's flagship SUV globally and shares its underpinnings with the Toyota Land Cruiser 200. Both SUVs are based on a ladder-on-frame chassis, but the Lexus stands out because of its sophisticated looks and luxurious feature offerings. The automaker's sharp styling and distinctive grille give it a striking appearance, and is complemented by the full-LED headlamps. The SUV gets flared wheel arches, bulbous proportions and wraparound LED tail lights.

Inside, the Lexus LX 570 is a 7-seater and comes finished in top-of-the-line luxury. The cabin gets a two-tone colour theme finished in soft touch materials and leather upholstery. You also get a 19 speaker Mark Levinson audio system, auto climate control with 14 sensors to create the ideal cabin temperature, wireless charging and a Heads-up display. You also get a massive touchscreen infotainment system, cool seats, rear entertainment screens for passengers and much more.

The Lexus LX 570 gets Multi-terrain Select adjusts multiple vehicle systems to negotiate a range of conditions and demanding off-road conditions are seamlessly managed by the 5-speed Crawl Control, which intelligently adjusts the torque and brakes on each wheel independently, allowing the driver to focus fully on the steering.

The Lexus LX 570 can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 7.7 seconds
The LX 570 is powered by a 5.7-litre V8 which makes 362 bhp and develops 530 Nm of peak torque. It’s quicker than its diesel sibling too as 0 to100 kmph is done in just 7.7 seconds compared to 8.6 seconds in the diesel.
